About Brandenburg Gate
Symbol of German unity after the fall of the Berlin Wall. The quadriga on top was taken to Paris by Napoleon in 1806. Stand-alone in no-mans land during the Cold War. The only surviving city gate of Berlin. Ronald Reagan delivered his Tear down this wall speech here. The gate was badly damaged in WWII and fully restored by 2002.
