Commemorates the Battle of Stalingrad. The tallest statue in Europe at 85 meters. The sword alone is 33 meters long. Leans slightly due to groundwater changes. The figure is 52 meters tall on a 33 meter pedestal. At the time of completion it was the tallest statue in the world.
