The largest palace complex in the world with 980 buildings. Home to 24 emperors over 500 years. Ordinary citizens were forbidden from entering until 1912. Has 9,999.5 rooms, the half room by design to not rival heaven. The yellow roof tiles could only be used by the emperor. Now receives 17 million visitors per year.
