The Great Pyramid was the tallest structure on Earth for 3,800 years. Built with approximately 2.3 million stone blocks averaging 2.5 tonnes each. Aligned almost perfectly with the cardinal directions. The base is level to within just 2.1 cm across its 230 meter length. The only surviving wonder of the ancient world. Originally covered in polished white limestone that gleamed in the sun.
