About Trevi Fountain
The largest Baroque fountain in Rome. Throwing a coin with the right hand over the left shoulder ensures a return to Rome. About 3,000 euros are thrown in daily, donated to charity. Fed by the Aqua Virgo aqueduct from 19 BC. Featured in La Dolce Vita and Roman Holiday. The fountain is built against the rear wall of a palace.
